Pipe Line Freezing

Freezing involves the use of Liquid Nitrogen or CO2 to create an ice plug inside the pipeline. Once formed, the plug is able to withstand very high differential pressures and create an isolated section of pipe that can be modified or repaired. That means that critical sections of a pipe system can remain online during repairs of smaller sections.

Typical pipe contents we work with:
  • Water
  • Alcohol
  • Acids
  • Oils
  • Coolants
  • Liquid Food Products
  • Paints
  • Many other chemicals
